Winter Art Course - Southwick

Service Description

This 5 session course is ideal for those with a little previous experience who would like to take their art to the next level. Over the course of 5 weeks, try different techniques such as chalk and charcoal, pen and wash, and acrylic painting. As Christmas approaches, we'll take inspiration from the season, creating fun illustrations (perfect for cards!) and we'll get to grips with painting beautiful snowy landscapes. Through various carefully planned exercises, you will develop your knowledge of drawing and painting. Along the way, you will learn really useful techniques, that will help you make art long after the course finishes. Materials will be provided but where possible you are encouraged to bring your own supplies if you have them. You may also wish to bring along an A3 plastic folder or similar to take your work home. Workshops take place in the Deall Room, Southwick Community Centre, 24 Southwick St, Southwick, BN42 4TE (Please note - class includes a 15 minute break. Biscuits are included in the course price and teas/coffees are available to purchase from the cafe should you so wish - or bring a flask!) This listing is for the whole 5 week course.
